Despite what you might think these floors aren’t made of wood! VINYL and LAMINATE flooring are more affordable alternatives to hardwood flooring. Unlike the latter, they can be manufactured to look like virtually anything. These floors are also much easier to install as they employ a simple click-and-lock installation. Check out the various floorings we have on offer!

Vinyl flooring is the most flexible flooring option and can be installed anywhere within the home. It is waterproof, making it ideal for use in bathrooms and damp locations such as basements. Vinyl flooring is easy to install and holds up well to wear.

Laminate flooring is very realistic and provides great insulation. Its thickness makes it more comfortable to walk on when compared with other flooring options. It can tolerate water for a short period of time when installed correctly, however it’s not waterproof. Its fibreboard core will soften and swell if exposed to water. Thus moisture resistance dictates where this may or may not be installed.

Integrating new flooring with existing flooring can be a daunting task. More often than not you’ll end up with a small gap between the floors and might be uncertain what to do. In such cases the problem could easily be resolved with the addition of a floor profile.

Floor profiles are a neat way of integrating different floorings together.  We provide a variety of floor profiles, including levelling floor profiles that join floors at unequal levels as well as stair profiles which reduce slipping on stairs.
